Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been feeling stomach pain and náuseas for the last 3 weeks. So I went to ER and the did a CT SCAN, they didn t found anything wrong with my stomach and intestine. They just found a small 1.9x1.9 hypodense lesion on my left kidney. What does it mean?
Small hypodense renal lesions with a round shape are frequently detected on CT scans of the upper abdomen after contrast medium administration.
They may be small cysts or malignancy or metastasis etc. It may need biopsy or excision and pathological analysis. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
